As petrol prices continue to ruse, the number of people who are looking to decrease petrol fuel debt by car sharing could be on the rise. According to the AA, 47% of drivers are now considering car sharing, more than half of these respondents said that fuel prices was their main reason.

Currently there are about 5.5 million already taking part in car sharing schemes, with 60% wanting to avoid debt by saving money.

Edmund King, president of the AA says: “Car sharing is something that we really believe in – not only is it a good way to reduce emissions and congestion on the road, but can also save on motoring costs.”
