Choosing A Career With Harrington Brooks

All new colleagues at Harrington Brooks start their journey by attending our corporate induction programme.

You'll gain an understanding of Harrington Brooks, the team culture and our business methods. After your induction, your career development will be dependent on your chosen career within the company, whether you have joined our Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, IT, Compliance, Training or Accounts team.

Typically your initial training will include product, systems and internal process training. You will be given regular opportunities to review your individual career progression with training available to make sure it is heading in the right direction.

We invest heavily in your career and development and if one of our qualified trainers are unable to provide the support you need, then external training agencies are always available for external qualifications such as NVQ's.

Harrington Brooks know that the working environment is important, and you need to feel appreciated and supported within a comfortable office environment. Our staff-led "Culture Club" is in place to make sure this happens, organising anything from company days out to charity events.

Investors in People is the UK’s leading people management standard. It specialises in transforming business performance through people. Harrington Brooks have been awarded Bronze Status by Investors In People following an on-site audit.

Professionally Accredited Training

Harrington Brooks invests heavily in training, enabling staff to gain a professionally recognised qualification.

The ISMM (Institute Of Sales Marketing Management) is the foremost professional body for sales training in the UK. Harrington Brooks is an ISMM QCF (Qualifications and Credit Framework) status centre, inducting staff into the training programme and supporting them on their journey to professional qualification. Paid Apprenticeships with Harrington Brooks

Apprentices working with Harrington Brooks gain an excellent grounding through a mixture of off-site training and on-the-job experience. The apprentices are responsible for liaising with internal and external customers and providing a high level of customer service and support.They also develop transferable maths, IT and communications skills and understand the sales environment and processes and the personal responsibilities of working in a fast-paced business through on-the-job training.

Apprenticeships are delivered in association with Pearson in Practise, one of UK’s leading providers of professional and technical learning and development.
