Employee Of The Month – Kay Littlehales
Congratulations to Kay Littlehales in the Training department at Harrington Brooks’ for winning Employee of the Month.

Kay has shown great commitment to this role since starting for Harrington Brooks in February of 2011. She has given 100% to building and providing first class training to the debt advisory department where she is a valued member of the team. Her training and coaching is second to none.

“She is always full of compliments and knows Harrington Brooks inside out! She takes her time to teach new starters everything there is to know about the paths of debts , and how to be an excellent sales person! She deserves credit for all of her hard work , Also she is the most down to earth person I have ever met.”
“Her support after training is brilliant. She is always there giving coaching and feedback and moral support. She often pops to see how things are going and congratulates staff when they achieve something which really gives you a boost and helps to motivate you to continue doing well”

Kay, gushing with modesty, comments:-
We’re training many people who have lost a great deal of confidence by being unemployed, in some cases, for long periods of time. These people are given the tools and re gain their confidence through effective training, team building and new found knowledge from a company that invests in their people, not just a number.
Harrington Brooks considers staff training central to its growth strategy and to providing the best in class customer experience. As such, we have aimed for and have recently been rewarded with Investors in People status.

Victoria Penny in Financial Claims
“Vicki has worked incredibly hard to ensure customers and colleagues alike are kept up to date with the progress of their PPI claim for IVA clients. There is now a solid link between departments offering a much improved customer journey. Not only did she hit her own monthly target for she has produced a training manual for new starters in Financial Claim Services as well as putting together training instructions for our new system.
She regularly links updates from the solicitors, the IVA team and the customer thus providing an overall better customer experience. Although this is her job role she is tenacious in her effort to get the final outcome for the customer which may involve several calls to various different third parties and very often encountering resistance from creditors.
Colin Roane in IT:
Colin is always on hand to help even when he is juggling multiple jobs. Nothing is ever too much trouble…” He has stayed late to get jobs done and even sometimes dials in from home to deal with issues.
